Central Sun Club was set up in 2024 by a group of friends from a local naturist swim, to give naturists in central Scotland a place of their own. Its Lochanwood site is 14 acres within a larger woodland, with natural trails, sunny open spaces and a small loch at its heart that draws plenty of wildlife.
The site is deliberately back to basics: there is no mains electricity or running water, and no caravan facilities, though there is space for wild camping and parking nearby. Day members are met and shown round by an experienced member, and annual members can visit as often as they like after a probationary period. Visits are arranged through an online enquiry form, usually with 48 hours' notice.
