Oxnat was founded in 1979 and owns an 11-acre woodland site outside Oxford, managed by members with wildlife in mind. Members built the clubhouse, which has a wood-burning stove, sauna, showers and a kitchen, and later added a hot tub, a conservatory and a shelter. There is a sunbathing lawn, boules and an Aunt Sally pitch, and members can camp at weekends.
The site is for members only, so there are no day visitors or campers from outside. The club has over 100 members of all ages, holds a social event most months, and runs naturist swims at the Didcot Wave pool, which are the easiest way for newcomers to meet the club.
