Ridgewood is a members' naturist club in a private five-acre woodland near Clevedon in North Somerset, close to the M5. It has been going for over 70 years. The site has a splash pool under a polytunnel, a clubhouse with a log burner, a kitchen and tuck shop, a barbecue area, boules and a weekend campfire. It makes its own off-grid electricity.
It describes itself as ideal for couples and families, and keeps membership to around 50 to 60 with a balance of men and women, so single men join a waiting list but can still visit. Pre-arranged day visits are £10 when host members are on site, and there is room for a few tents and small campervans on summer weekends. Note the grounds are uneven and the washrooms are up steps.
