Sunfolk is owned and run by British Naturism on five acres of woodland at Park Street, near St Albans, a short walk from How Wood station and close to the M1 and M25. Guests share a heated indoor pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub, a pavilion and shared kitchen, a gas barbecue, sun lawns, pétanque and a woodland path.

It is a good place to try naturism for the first time: volunteer wardens meet every visitor at the gate and show them round, and you are not rushed to undress. Day visits, tent camping, caravan and motorhome pitches with hook-ups, and furnished glamping pods are all booked online. Single visitors, including single men, are welcome.
