Ashdene is a member-run naturist club founded in 1986, set in the Calder Valley between Elland and Brighouse. The site has lawns for sunbathing, a swimming pool with a retractable roof, a jacuzzi and sauna, a clubhouse with a licensed bar, a conservatory and a patio, plus petanque and miniten. Woodland walks and the river and canal are close by.
It welcomes members and visitors for day visits or overnight stays, with pitches for tents, caravans and campervans, electric hook-ups and three camping pods to rent. There is a busy social calendar with quiz nights and live acts. It suits families, couples and singles, and dogs are welcome. All bookings are made online at least 48 hours ahead.
