Beach Box is a small sauna spa right on the pebbles at Madeira Drive, near the Banjo Groyne in Kemp Town, with saunas looking out to sea and direct access to the water for cooling off.
Most sessions require swimwear below the waist, but once a month there is a German-style clothing-optional evening on a Monday, with Aufguss rounds led by a sauna master. You can wear swimwear or not as you prefer, and the session is strictly non-sexual. Book ahead online.
