Haslemere Sun Club, founded in 1947, sits on two acres of steep wooded hillside at Headley Down, close to where Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex meet. The heart of it is an 18-metre heated pool beside the main sunbathing lawn, with a pavilion, kitchen and terrace looking over both. There are courts for pétanque, volleyball, badminton and short tennis.
It is a members' club with visits by prior arrangement on visitor days and open weekends. The hillside rules out caravans, and tent camping is only arranged around social events. In summer there are barbecues, themed nights and open weekends; in winter members meet up for clothed walks and dinners.
