Valerian has been running since 1968 on a six-acre site of protected ancient woodland near Havenstreet, and describes itself as the island's only naturist club. Campers have hot showers, toilets and use of the kitchen, and there is a club room and a boules court.
It takes tents, vans, motorhomes and caravans, with electric hook-ups available, which makes it a useful base for a naturist trip to the island. Members are happy to point visitors to the island's naturist beaches at Blackgang and Yaverland. Contact the club by text or email before you travel.
