The Naturist Spa Club hires the Mediterranean-themed Aqua Springs spa at Leisure World on Sunday evenings, usually the first and third Sundays of the month, and has done so for decades. Members get the whole spa: a large central jacuzzi pool, two saunas at different temperatures, a steam room, a salt inhalation room, hydrotherapy pools, a cool pool and an ice plunge, plus an aromatherapy room and a lounge.
It suits naturists who prefer a warm, indoor spa evening to swimming lengths. Nakedness is expected throughout, and the changing rooms are unisex. Newcomers should contact the membership secretary to arrange a first visit, and bring a thin towel for sitting on in the heat rooms.
