Three Rivers Outdoor Club takes its name from the Tyne, the Wear and the Tees and has been running since 1982. It has no fixed site, but holds a monthly naturist swim and gym evening at Elswick Pool in Newcastle, usually on the second Saturday, with tea and coffee afterwards. In summer it organises walks and river dips, and it holds exemption certificates for naturist camping and caravanning meets.
You do not need to be a member or book to come to a swim: just bring photo ID or a naturist membership card. Membership is open to individuals, couples and families and costs little. The club is keen to welcome more women into naturism.
